Dear Blog:

Progressing on the sunrise pastel from my previous post-will be posting it when it is finished.  It seems this time of year the outside studio calls to me and draws me out .....Gardening!  Medium: Plants!  So many wonderful choices of veggies, annuals and perennials....the paper is earth, ahhhhh....digging and getting covered in that heavenly soil with blue skies for a frame!!  April and May are such intense times with this passion.  Mother Nature sure knows how to use those colors, no limited palette, no color wheel, it all just works!!!! and the composition, well, that just unfolds itself.......

p.s.  I have been entering shows and working toward exhibitions so hope to post news on successes with that in the newsletter soon!
